Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner – Neurosurgery

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outstanding Neurosurgical team. This role offers the chance to work with a diverse patient population providing care across the full continuum, including the emergency department, ICU, stepdown, and inpatient floors.
About the Role
This multifaceted position includes:
- Standard hospitalist duties such as admissions, history and physicals, discharges, consults, triage, and emergency response
- Clinic responsibilities involving patient evaluations, follow-ups, and education
- Operating Room first assists for neurosurgical procedures
- Procedures include (but are not limited to):
- Lumbar punctures
- Suturing and staple removal
- Shunt adjustments
Preferred Background
We are seeking candidates with a strong interest or experience in neurosurgical care across inpatient, outpatient, and surgical settings.
