Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to dialysis patients before, during, and after treatments
- Operate and monitor dialysis equipment safely and effectively
- Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs throughout treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families regarding dialysis procedures and kidney health management
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
- Respond quickly to patient complications or emergencies during treatment
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care
Requirements
- Active RN License in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of recent dialysis nursing experience
- BLS Certification required
- ACLS Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of hemodialysis procedures and renal patient care
- Excellent communication and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment
