This is a unique opportunity to *lead a high-performing team* in a collaborative, patient-centered environment at a *community hospital known for its strong culture and supportive leadership.* *About the Role* The RN Supervisor provides frontline leadership and operational oversight for the Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit. This role supports a culture of *clinical excellence, teamwork, and compassionate care*, while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes. *Key Responsibilities* * Provide *clinical leadership and supervision* to nursing staff on a dynamic Med Surg/Tele Trauma unit * Promote a *positive team environment*, mentoring and developing staff to achieve their full potential * Coordinate daily operations including staffing, patient flow, and resource allocation * Ensure compliance with *BSWH policies, regulatory standards, and quality initiatives* * Partner with leadership to drive *quality, safety, and patient experience goals* * Support a culture of *accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement* * Respond to patient care concerns and assist with clinical decision-making as needed *About the Unit - 4 East Expansion* * Brand-new *Med Surg/Telemetry Trauma unit* * Designed to support growing patient volumes and acuity * Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration *Qualifications* * Graduate of an accredited nursing program * *BSN preferred* * Current RN license in the state of Texas * Minimum of *2-3 years of acute care experience*, preferably in Med Surg, Telemetry, or Trauma * Prior *leadership or charge nurse experience preferred* * Strong communication, critical thinking, and team leadership skills About Us Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities. Job Summary Your role as Nursing Supervisor involves supervising healthcare professionals and ensuring high patient care levels. Maintain a safe environment and nurture nursing practice to improve patient outcomes. Oversee operations, productivity, and resource distribution to meet department priorities.
