Description
Dynamic, office-based private colorectal surgical practice looking for a Full Time Advance Practice Provider.
At Rochester Colon & Rectal Surgeons, PC our Advanced Practice Providers provide a wide variety of medical, surgical and endoscopic care to our patients. We are seeking a highly motivated practitioner with an interest to screen and treat patients for anal dysplasia. Approximately 50-75% of your time is expected to be spent providing this much-needed and expanding service. You will also learn to manage patients with anorectal and colorectal surgical problems. You will collaborate with an experienced supervising physician who will provide on-the-job specialty training and you will benefit from this unique turn-key practice.

Job Activities: Interact on a daily basis with patients and their family members. Perform history and physical examination. Use clinical problem-solving skills to determine a treatment plan. Prescribe appropriate medications according to our routine practice policies. Perform procedures such as High Resolution Anoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, Office-Based Hemorrhoid Treatments, Abscess Drainage and Wound Care. We are a surgical subspecialty and therefore will provide on-the-job training for these procedures, with the goal of becoming independent with treating our patients.
