Pride Health is hiring a Pharmacy Care Technician to support a healthcare organization in San Antonio, TX 78257. This position helps with medication adherence goals and directly supports patient engagement, medication adherence, and overall member satisfaction.

- Shift Time: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Hours per week: 40 hours
- Pay Rate: $18/hour
Job Details:
The Pharmacy Care Technician will conduct inbound and outbound calls, complete member assessments, and remind members to remain adherent to their medications. The position supports medication adherence initiatives for the Central Texas region and contributes to maintaining and improving healthcare quality ratings.
Duties:
- Conducts inbound and outbound calls while engaging with members regarding medication adherence.
- Complete member assessments and provide medication adherence reminders and education.
- Provide strong customer service and communicate effectively with members over the phone.
- Remain focused and productive with limited direct supervision.
- Utilize multiple computer programs and systems to complete daily responsibilities and document member interactions.
- Support medication adherence goals that directly impact patient, provider, and staff satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; education will be verified during onboarding.
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician license/registration required.
- Active National Pharmacy Technician certification/license required.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
