Are you a Nurse Practitioner who values meaningful patient relationships over corporate medicine metrics? We are a small, woman-owned, family-style private pediatric practice in NW Washington DC. As proud members of a larger regional pediatric network, we offer the resources of a larger group while maintaining the heart, soul, and autonomy of an independent community clinic.
Working in close collaborative partnership with our Managing Partner, our practice is beloved for its exceptional clinical care. The Role & Our Culture:
We are seeking an autonomous, collaborative, and highly competent part-time CPNP or CFNP. You won't be just a cog in a machine here; you will be a vital part of a tight-knit, collegial team.
The ideal candidate is clinically confident, highly efficient with electronic medical records (EMR), and possesses excellent time management skills. We pride ourselves on providing a consistent, high-quality experience for our families. We utilize established evidence-based protocols and value collaborative providers who appreciate a cohesive team approach to patient care. Our Managing Partner and the award-winning practice bring decades of pediatric experience to the table, providing a fantastic environment for mentorship and professional growth. We are big believers in lifelong learning and deeply value the unique expertise and fresh perspectives a new clinician will bring to our collaborative team.
Because we are a small practice, there will be days where you will be the sole provider on site. However, you are never truly alone—you will be fully supported by our excellent nursing and administrative staff, and our Managing Partner is always just a phone call away for case collaboration.

Schedule & Flexibility:
- Hours: 2 days per week initially (with the potential to grow to 3 days per week). We are flexible on which days you work during the week.
- Weekends: The office is closed on weekends, so there are no weekend clinic hours.
- On-Call:* Requires sharing split phone on-call duties.
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience.
Requirements
Required Qualifications & Compliance:
- Active, unencumbered Washington, DC Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license.
- Board Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (CFNP) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical pediatric experience required, but 3-5+ years is strongly preferred*. Seasoned or veteran NPs looking for a balanced, part-time schedule are highly encouraged to apply!
- Active DEA registration and DC Controlled Substance Authority (CSA) required (or eligible to obtain immediately).
- Current BLS and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications required.
- MSN or DNP required.
- Must be able to successfully complete the credentialing process with Trusted Doctors and participating insurance payors.
