Looking to step away from 12-hour hospital rotations, rigid call schedules, and high patient-to-nurse ratios? The McCallie School—a premier independent boarding school in Chattanooga—is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Student Health Center team.
This full-time, 12-month position offers clinical professionals the opportunity to deliver personalized, high-quality pediatric and adolescent care in a positive, supportive campus environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee evening clinical operations, managing acute illnesses, injuries, chronic conditions, and emergency responses for students and campus residents.
- Safely administer prescription and over-the-counter medications per physician orders and health center protocols.
- Coordinate care with parents, residential faculty, and local specialty healthcare providers.
- Maintain web-based medical documentation and arrange patient transportation on campus or to local appointments as needed.

Requirements
- Current Tennessee RN or LPN license (RN preferred) with established clinical practice experience.
- Background in pediatrics, school nursing, urgent care, or emergency medicine preferred.
- Active CPR/BLS certification and proficiency in digital chart/EMR documentation.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean motor vehicle record.
- Strong interpersonal skills and alignment with McCallie’s mission to form the whole boy.
