SSM Health - Illinois seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established Endocrinology team in Mt. Vernon. The successful candidate will join our Medical Group and will be affiliated with SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, in a full-time position.
This is an employed position with SSM Health - Good Samaritan Hospital, a premier hospital system located in Mt. Vernon, Illinois, where easy access is available to St. Louis, Chicago, Evansville, Indianapolis, Lexington, Louisville, Memphis, and Nashville.
Highlights of the opportunity are:
- Facility is a not-for-profit Catholic institution affiliated with SSM Health
- Clinic-based position with a Monday - Friday schedule
- No night call!
- Signing payment eligible position

Candidates must have/be:
- Successful completion of an accredited NP or PA school
- Hold current Board Certification.
- An experienced endocrinology provider is preferred; however, a new graduate will not be excluded, with preference given to those with previous Diabetic Educator experience.
- Active Illinois APN or PA license is preferred.
