Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our hospital medicine team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care during overnight shifts in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care during overnight hours
• Conduct patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment planning
• Manage admissions, consultations, and cross-coverage responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Participate in patient care coordination and handoff communication
• Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, and quality initiatives

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current Missouri NP license or eligibility for licensure
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Prior experience in hospital medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, or critical care preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in an overnight hospital setting

Schedule

• Full-time nocturnist position
• Overnight shifts
• Flexible scheduling options may be available
