Locums Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner in Midland, Michigan - Seven On Seven Off, No Call

Join a high-acuity trauma and general surgery service with a predictable 7-on/7-off night schedule and no call responsibilities. This role is ideal for experienced surgical APPs seeking ongoing block scheduling.

Practice & Cases

• Inpatient trauma and general surgery coverage with multispecialty surgical consults
• Respond to Level I and Level II trauma activations
• Manage admissions, consults, and overnight surgical floor needs
• Perform suturing, central lines, arterial lines, chest tube placement, and other bedside procedures

Schedule

• Ongoing 7-on/7-off rotation
• Night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Full block coverage required
• Ongoing assignment

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Michigan license required
• Board Certified with ACLS and ATLS certifications
• Ability to provide case logs showing at least 50 cases within the last 12 months
