Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Endocrinologist to join our dynamic, physician-owned medical group located in the Hudson Valley. This is an exceptional chance to provide top-notch, patient-focused care in a fully outpatient environment across various accessible locations, including Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, and Beacon. As a vital member of our endocrine team, you will assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of hormonal and metabolic disorders, such as diabetes, thyroid issues, osteoporosis, and conditions related to the adrenal and pituitary glands. You will work closely with primary care physicians, specialists, and advanced practice providers to ensure that our patients receive comprehensive and coordinated care. This position offers a degree of autonomy within a supportive framework, with duties that include interpreting diagnostic tests, creating personalized treatment plans, and engaging in clinical quality improvement initiatives. Additionally, you may supervise nurse practitioners and physician assistants as needed.
Requirements:Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
Active and unrestricted medical license in New York State or eligibility for one.
Current DEA registration.
Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and continuous learning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred.
