Seeking full-time NP to work in substance use disorder, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) and methadone outpatient clinic in downtown Rochester. The position is located on-site at 360 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14604 (by the intersection of East and Alexander).
Job Description Reviews medical history ; Screens for health issues
Charts any health issues/concerns
Coordinates services
Provides education to clients and staff
Provides oversight of the agency Opioid Overdose Prevention Program (Narcan Training & Distribution)
Prescribes Medication Assisted Treatment to all interested/eligible clients; monitors medication adherence
Perform physical exams and induction for Methadone
Supervise nursing staff
Participates in clinic team meetings as necessary to coordinate client care
Attends MAT staff meetings
Pay Rate: $110,000 - $140,000 per year

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from a New York State accredited or accepted Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant preparatory program is required. Two (2) years experience in health care delivery and knowledge of addiction treatment (MAT, methadone) is preferred.
