Peninsula Vet Emergency & Referral Hospital (Peninsula ERH) is seeking a Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist to join our growing referral team on Victoria's stunning Mornington Peninsula.

Facilities
Comprehensive Advance Imaging: CT, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, and high-quality ultrasound units (including cardiac and abdominal capabilities)
Endoscopy suite: Flexible and rigid endoscopy, bronchoscopy, cystoscopy, and arthroscopy
Purpose-Built Referral Hospital: Modern treatment and procedure areas, experienced nursing support and a collaborative approach to case management
About the Role As a Small Animal Internal Medicine Specialist, you'll manage a broad and interesting referral caseload.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing referral medicine consultations and inpatient care
Performing advanced diagnostic procedures including ultrasound and endoscopy
Working collaboratively with surgery, emergency and referral clinicians
Mentoring interns and contributing to continuing education
Supporting the ongoing growth and development of the Internal Medicine service
This role offers significant clinical autonomy while providing the support of an experienced specialist team and excellent nursing staff.
Requirements
Board-certified diplomate of the ACVIM or ECVIM-CA, or fellowship of the ANZCVS in Small Animal Medicine. Residency-trained candidates also considered.
Eligible for veterinary registration in Victoria
