Description
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the daily operations of our 59-bed nonprofit skilled nursing facility, recognized for providing high-quality, resident-centered care and achieving a five (5) Star Quality Rating in a faith-based environment. The Administrator is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high standards of resident care, employee engagement, financial performance, and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will provide leadership to all departments and foster a culture of dignity, compassion, quality care, teamwork, accountability, regulatory excellence, and faithful stewardship of the mission and values of the Sisters of the Servants of Mary, Ministers of the sick.
Requirements
Direct and oversee all facility operations, including nursing, rehabilitation, dietary, housekeeping, maintenance, social services, admissions, and business office functions.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, CMS, CDPH, OSHA, and local regulatory requirements.
Maintain readiness for state surveys, complaint investigations, and regulatory audits.
Monitor quality measures, infection prevention programs, patient safety initiatives, and performance improvement activities.
Develop and implement strategic plans to improve resident care outcomes and operational efficiency.
Oversee budgeting, census development, revenue management, Medicare and Medi-Cal compliance, and financial performance.
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing, Medical Director, department managers, residents, families, and community partners.
Promote a positive work environment through leadership development, staff retention, employee engagement, and professional accountability.
Ensure residents' rights, dignity, and quality of life are upheld at all times.
Participate in community outreach, referral development, and marketing activities.
Attend Governing Board, Quality Assurance, Risk Management, Infection Prevention, and other required committee meetings.
