Schedule
- Full-time
- Four 10-hour shifts
- Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview
As a Registered Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in patient care and hospital operations. Your responsibilities will include hands-on nursing care, diagnostics, client communication, and assisting veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures. This role is ideal for an RVT who enjoys a fast-paced, high-quality general practice setting and values teamwork and growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical care and advocating for patients
- Assist with medical procedures, including surgeries and dental procedures
- Perform dental cleanings, extractions, and oral suturing
- Properly position patients and obtain diagnostic radiographs
- Triage sick patients and provide advanced nursing care
- Room appointments by obtaining patient history, weights, temperatures, and vital signs prior to doctor exams
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding treatment plans, patient updates, and client education
- Obtain and maintain accurate patient histories and medical records
- Place IV catheters, collect blood samples, perform cystocentesis, place urinary catheters, and administer IV, IM, and SQ injections
- Monitor anesthesia using appropriate monitoring equipment
- Maintain clean and organized exam rooms, treatment areas, and laboratories
- Mentor and support fellow team members to promote collaboration and professional growth

Requirements
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Veterinary Technician (required)
- Strong technical skills, including IV catheter placement, blood collection, and anesthesia monitoring
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and a team-oriented mindset
- Thrives in a busy general practice hospital environment

Compensation
