OverviewCarle Health is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join our established Family Practice and Occupational Health team in Peoria Heights, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Join an established department with occupational health nurses and certified drug/alcohol testers
- The department offers a variety of business health services that focus on prevention including workers' compensation, medical surveillance, DOT, and employer services
- Reasonable volume and well-paced environment; work 5 days per week in our office in Peoria
- The department works closely with all supporting services, including Occupational/Physical Therapists, Industrial Rehabilitation, Radiology, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Wound Care specialists and Neurosurgery
- Excellent benefits package: health/dental/life insurance, 403-B plan with employer match, Short and long-term disability, allowance, and paid malpractice insurance with tail insurance coverage
- Clinic Hours are Mon - Fri 8 AM - 6 PM
- Our Occupational Health providers currently see patients for Occupational Health, and DOT visits in addition to Walk-Ins
Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- DOT Medical Examiner certification or ability to obtain DOT Medical Examiner certification within 90 days of hire required
- Occupational Medicine experience is a plus
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
- Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to perform minor procedures such as splinting, suturing, removal of foreign body in eye, ear, and more

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
