Nursing Faculty-Graduate Program
St. Ambrose University at the Mount Mercy campus invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the graduate program. The successful candidate will join a well-established department focused in implementing the approved curriculum based on the mission and Philosophy of the Department of Nursing.
Nursing faculty are professionals with the education and skills to prepare the next generation of nurses. They provide opportunities for students to acquire knowledge and practice skills identified in course objectives within classroom, laboratory and clinical settings; using appropriate and innovative teaching methods across a variety of modalities - including online and face to face teaching. All nursing faculty at St Ambrose University and the Mount Mercy University campus participate in the program’s evaluation and continuous improvement processes.

Requirements
Qualified applicants will possess a Doctoral degree (e.g., PhD, EdD, DNP). Candidates with ARNP certification are preferential. Candidates must be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in Iowa. Licensure in additional states may be required. Faculty rank will be commensurate with the applicant’s credentials and experience. Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching and scholarship with experience in academia will enhance the candidate’s application.
