Bronson Healthcare Group is seeking a dedicated Manager of Nursing Surgical Services to join the team at Bronson LakeView Hospital in Paw Paw, Michigan. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and supporting a strong clinical team in a community-focused setting.

Bronson LakeView Hospital is a 16-bed critical access hospital serving Van Buren and Kalamazoo counties. The Surgical Services Department is primarily ambulatory and includes:

• 2 operating rooms
• 1 procedure room
• Operating Room, Pre/Post-Op and Sterile Reprocessing departments
• Full-time, business-hour schedule
• No weekends or emergency call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor the surgical nursing team
• Oversee daily operations in surgical services
• Ensure patient safety, quality measures and satisfaction standards are met
• Develop and manage budgets, policies and departmental strategy
• Promote shared governance and professional growth
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance care delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• 3 to 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience required
• 3 to 5 years of surgical services experience preferred
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Health Administration or MBA preferred
• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS certification
• Strong leadership, communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Ability to use data to drive decision making
