Join a Growing, Locally Owned & Non-Corporate Specialty Team — Third Internist Role Epic Specialty & Emergency Pet Care is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialist to join our thriving specialty and emergency hospital in the Tampa Bay area. This is a growth position—you would be joining as our third internist, expanding an already busy and well-established Internal Medicine service.

3 board-certified surgeons

2 medical oncologists

1 criticalist

1 cardiologist

9 full-time emergency clinicians

Clinical Capabilities & Support 128-slice CT scanner with on-site advanced imaging support

Strong anesthesia, ICU, and procedural nursing teams

Robust referral base and interdisciplinary case collaboration

Excellent technician-to-doctor ratios

Dedicated support for complex diagnostics, procedures, and long-term case management

This role is ideal for an internist who values thoughtful medicine, case continuity, and collaboration across specialties.

Who We’re Looking For ACVIM board-certified or board-eligible in Small Animal Internal Medicine

Interest in building and shaping a growing IM service as part of a multi-internist team

Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
