Join our compassionate team as a locum psychiatrist, offering flexible weekday hours and comprehensive care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (flexible hours)
• On-call duties from 5 pm - 8 am as part of the call pool
• Weekend on-site rounding required

Practice Setting:

• Inpatient psychiatric facility
• A collaborative work environment with other inpatient providers
• Supported by nursing and mental health clinicians

Responsibilities:

• Perform initial psychiatric evaluations, follow-ups, and discharges
• Manage a case load of approximately 30 patients, including both new admits and follow-ups
• Administer psychotropic medications

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
• Experience accepted in lieu of fellowship
• No suboxone certification needed

Additional Information:

• Patients aged 12 and older
• Immediate start; no waiting for license
